If I counted how many
times I surprised myself,
the number itself
would be a surprise.

There were things
I didn’t expect to happen.
Some of them
caused me to stumble,
but most of them
caused me to rise.

I’m thankful.
I’m happy.
I’m blessed as I can be.

I’m just getting started.
