When a thought is conceived
we don’t always know what
it will grow up to be.
Sometimes as the
thought develops
it can split into two,
three, or more.
Each one as important
as the beginning.
Each one needing to
be nurtured and fed as
they develop into words.
Building and building,
a concept starts to form,
and a poem is born.
