Rain Clouds

rain falling down window panes
like the tears against an unkissed cheek

the unfamiliarity with affection
believing in your soul that
finding love has reached its peak

clouds carrying the
burdens of disappointments
and the weight of a heavy heart

but this too shall pass.
the sun will shine again
tomorrow will be a new start
