The winner’s circle sometimes resembles
a square that we box ourselves in.
Trying to fit into the status quo or
the algorithm’s requirements to grow followers
—instead of creating and building community.

Individuality underrated.
Mimicking the trends celebrated.
An endless cycle on the hamster
wheel of “give and take”.
Where the givers become exhausted,
while the takers become charged
from the wheel’s revolution.
The devolution of the thinkers, the doers,
and those who are willing to challenge the system.

But from where I’m sitting it’s the evolution
of those who are willing to create the things
they like—just because it’s what they like.
Comfortable in their skin
and comfortable with their art.
