It’s been a long day…

and he can’t wait to get back to her.

Since he kissed her on her forehead and they said their goodbyes, that’s all that’s been on his mind.

Her smile as soon as she sees his face. When he puts his arms around her as they say hello.

Those are the thoughts that get him through the day.

Looking forward to the conversations about how each other’s day went. The sound of her voice as she says, “I missed you. Tell me about your day.” That’s music to his ears, but its how her day went, that’s music to his heart.

She is the best part of the day.
