With eyes open wide enough to all of the choices, all of the distractions, and all of the reasons why not, I’m still stepping into unfamiliar territory with a familiar urgency.

Vowing to never be in this place again. So long to the procrastination of resolutions at a year’s end. So long to evaluations and critiques waiting until there’s the need for an amend.

This familiar urgency is what’s taken me this far and why I know I have much further to go. I understand that unfamiliar territory is where I’ll be able to evolve, learn, and grow.

This is a new way of living where I grow each day. A new way of living where I’m quick to take action and no longer living life on a delay.
