Some days it feels like
the sun shines differently
than it did yesterday.

Not different by
how it feels because
temperatures change, and
seasons come and go.

And not different
because of an overcast
or rain clouds.

The sun shines brighter
when our outlook changes.

We start seeing life
and the choices we make
a little differently.
Importance shifts from
one spectrum to another.

Some days I realize
I am much better
than I was yesterday.
