Sometimes sorrows fall
on us like shadows in the darkness,
but sifting through the murkiness
we find our way through.

Taking steps we find our way through.
As the night goes it almost seems to get darker,
but along the way, the path gets clearer
as the shadows begin to dissipate.

Dawn arrives as our vision comes into focus.
Sorrows and darkness are no more.
It’s a new day as we witness
God’s glory in the morning light.
