An Empty Room

If you placed all of your
worries in an empty room,
how much space would you
have for anything else?

Would you be able to
sit with patience and
allow yourself grace?

Would you be able to
stand for what’s right,
instead of lying down on
the floor when it’s convenient?

If you placed all of your
worries in an empty room,
would there be enough room for a bed?

The bed that you’ve made,
would you be able to lie in it?

Would you be able to
unpack all of the baggage
that you brought with you?

If you let go of your worries,
would there be a need for that room?

Is the room just a reflection
of how you feel inside,
or is the room really a
place to reflect and reset?

What would happen if you
knocked down the walls?

If you let go of your worries,
where would your focus go and
how much more could you do?

How much more would
you believe in yourself?
