as a nonexistent place
because of the many
lies told in its name.

Belief defines love
as the place where
truth always dwells.

Disappointment defines love
as a desert land
that leaves your spirits
parched and mind conflicted.

Belief defines love
as a vast oasis
where the waters of certainty
are plentiful
and clarity is sustained.

Comparison defines love
as the counterfeit love
that manipulated
and deceived.

Confidence defines love
as unwavering freedom
and truth.

Heartbreak defines love
as inevitable hurt and pain
that enjoys showing
its ugly face.

Happiness defines love
as endless joy and peace
that flourishes in beauty.

Love defines itself
as the place
where the heart desires to be
because that’s where it belongs.

When love is authentic,
it’s where the heart will live
because love
will always endure.
