The one thing remains the same
is that our lives have meaning
—there are reasons why we’re here.

No matter how long or short,
God breathed purpose into our bodies.

Every breath we take is a gift.
So let’s not waste it with words
that are contrary to the good in our lives.

Or as a faucet of hate towards each other.
Turned on by fear and confusion.

Let us stay away from
words of self doubt and pitty.
May we use our breath to speak
life into every dead situation.

Let us be a living example
of hope so that someone’s
journey may be a little easier.
