what God already promised you.

Suffocated by the doubt
you allowed to cover your
dreams as if they weren’t
already covered by your prayers.

Yesterday’s ashes were
the rebirth of today.

Reignited by the purpose
that was still lit underneath.

Refueled with the acknowledgment
of who you are and whose you are.

Yesterday’s ashes built
today’s eternal flame.
