I was once told
that embarrassment is a choice,
but quickly learned
that was a lie.

As if history
didn’t already confirm it isn’t.
If you’re embarrassed, own it.
Own it and use it
to change your situation.

Never fake it
until you make it.
There’s an expiration date
until you’re just fake—
most people miss it.

Tricking yourself
into thinking that
you’re staying fresh.

Commit to working harder.
Commit to learning more.
Commit to growing.
Commit to the process.
