On this day in 2018 I published my first book, Love Letters: A Collection of Poems. Poetry is where I began writing, but I would have never imagined that my first book would be a collection of (love) poems. When I was writing this book, I just wanted to share some of my poems with whoever would read it, and hoped some people would like it. I didn’t know that it would be impactful in such a way that people who had given up on love would start believing in it again. I didn’t know that it would be an experience and not just a book.
