Sometimes I remind myself of how far
I’ve come and what I overcame.
Not for vanity or pride,
but to realize how much further I can go.

Challenges are hurdles intended for me to jump higher,
not roadblocks set up to imprison me
with the convictions of my faults.

Though the path may have changed,
as long as I’m stepping in the right direction,
the journey remains the same.

With my heart as the map
and God as my guide,
I keep pushing forward
with a passion that’s resilient and true.
